Common questions
When is my MOT due?
A car needs its first MOT by the third anniversary of its registration, then once a year after that. You can have it tested up to a month (minus a day) early and still keep the same renewal date.
How long does an MOT take?
Usually around 45 minutes to an hour. Let us know when you book if you'd rather leave the car with us for the day.
What happens if my car fails?
We'll go through what failed and give you a quote for the repairs. If we fix it here, we'll handle the retest. A car that fails with a 'dangerous' defect can't be driven until it's repaired.
Do I need to bring any paperwork?
No — just the car. We can look everything up from the registration.
